1. What is home health care
Home health care is a type of medical care that is provided in the patient's home. It can include a variety of services, such as nursing care, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, social work services, and personal care assistance.
2. What form of payment do you take?
We take private pay (please call for rates), Medicaid, and Private Insurance.
3. Who is eligible for home health care?
Home health care is typically covered by Medicare, Medicaid, and some private insurance plans. However, there are eligibility criteria that must be met in order to qualify for home health care. These criteria vary depending on the insurance plan or government program.
4. How do we know if we qualify for services?
A manager from the office will come out for a free initial assessment and walk you through the process as to if you qualify for assistance, how to utilize state programs and how you would benefit from Zion Selah Health Care
5. What areas do you cover?
Zion Selah Health Care covers the Front Range spanning from Castle Rock upwards to Loveland, Colorado. Please call for specific cities.
6. How fast is your response time?
Within 1 business day. There is also an on call manager available on weekends for any questions, comments or concerns.
7. Do you service clients on holidays?
Yes, Zion Selah Health Care services clients 365 days a year.
8. Are your employees background checked?
Yes, through Federal, State and Dora background checks
9. Are your employees drug tested?
Yes, all of our employees are subject to pre-employment drug screens.
10. Are your employees trained?
Yes, our employees all go through training with a Registered Nurse. On top of initial training, continuing education is required for all employees throughout the year.
11. Do you take Relative Care underneath Medicaid?
Yes! We welcome all Relatives to be employees for their loved ones through us underneath the Medicaid HCBS waiver!
12. How much does home health care cost?
The cost of home health care varies depending on the services that are provided, the length of time that care is needed, and the patient's insurance coverage. In some cases, home health care may be fully covered by insurance. However, in other cases, the patient may be responsible for a portion of the cost.
